Welcome to Romania! As soon as you set foot on the wonderful Romanian land, in Otopeni International Airport, meet your local guide and transfer to your centrally located hotel. On the way to the hotel, have a preview of what you are about to discover here with a panoramic tour of the city that takes you by the House of the Free Press, The Romanian Arch of Triumph, through The Victory Square, The Roman Square, The Palace of the Parliament, and finally to The University Square. Enjoy leisure time and discover the Old Town on your own. Welcome dinner at historic restaurant from the Old Town.

A lovely start of your day by enjoying the tour of Bucharest. Visit the second largest building in the world, built by the dictator Nicolae Ceausescu, The Palace of the Parliament, discover its beautifully preserved architecture, the massive chandeliers, mirrors, secret tunnels and impressive furniture.

Continue with the national symbol of the Orthodox faith, The Patriarchal Church. Discover the outstanding Romanian Athenaeum, its history themed fresco from the ceiling, and the breath-taking paintings from the walls.

Visit The National Village Museum, and take a walk among the enchanting exhibition of traditional houses, crafts, folk costumes.

Carry on to Cozia, and visit the outstanding Cozia Monastery, its architecture enhanced by the laced stoned exterior, and the byzantine paintings present in the interior.

A wonderful start of the day with a walking tour in the Old Town of Sibiu, one of the most idyllic towns in Eastern Europe. Admire the Lutheran Cathedral, located at the Huet Square with its tower of almost 74m of height. Discover the outstanding architecture of the famous Brukenthal Museum. Enjoy time at leisure in the fairy tale city.

Discover the untouched nature of the wild Carpathian Mountains and the outstanding landscapes. In the afternoon, visit the Fortified Church Cisnadioara from the 13th century.

Complete the day with a delicious dinner with wine and brandy at the locals from the mountain village Sibiel. Return to Sibiu.

Scenic ride through the countryside towards the medieval town Medias, a former German settlement. Visit here the St. Margaret’s Church from the 15th century with its inclined 68m high tower (one of the top 10 inclined towers of the World)

Continue to the charming medieval village Biertan and visit the Fortified church from the 15th century. Biertan is one of the largest fortified churches in Transylvania and is listed by UNESCO as World Heritage Site.

Start the day with a tour of one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe. Sighisoara was settled by the Germans in the 13th century and it is one of the few still inhabited medieval fortresses in the whole world, being also listed by UNESCO as World Heritage Site. During the walking tour you will visit the Clock Tower, admire the birth house of Dracula and the Church on the Hill. Time at leisure.

In the afternoon, discover another side of Transylvania, a region famous for its good wines. Visit a local winery and taste some of the best Transylvanian wines. Return to Sighisoara and dinner at local restaurant from the Old Town.

Travel towards the Transylvanian idyllic countryside, discover the fortified churches, and beautifully preserved traditional way of living. Explore the country life of Transylvania by getting to know Viscri, the most popular Saxon Village from the area. Take a tour of the village and experience a ride by traditional horse drawn carriages. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage attraction, the Deutschweisskirch Fortified Church. Meet the locals and enjoy a traditional lunch in this picturesque village with delicious dishes and homemade wine.

Continue towards the small village Prejmer and visit the Prejmer Fortified Church. Built by the Teutonic knights in the early 13th century, the fortified church was listed by UNESCO as World Heritage Site. Inside the fortification one can find 272 rooms, one for each village family, a church completed in 1225 and a school.

After breakfast, enjoy a tour of Brasov, another medieval treasure of Transylvania. Visit the town’s landmark – with a history of over 600 years - The Black Church, continue with The Black Tower, The White Tower, Ecaterina’s Gate and Rope’s Street. Time at leisure in the Old Town.

With a history of almost 600 years, The Black Church is the City symbol of Brasov. Modeled after the famous Saint Sebaldus Church from Nurnberg, the church took almost 100 years to be designed and built in order for each detail of the Gothic architecture to be included and perfectly made until the last detail.

In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive to Bran. In this small and pretty mountain village you will visit the impressive Bran Castle known as “Dracula Castle”, probably the most famous castle in Eastern Europe. Built in the 14th century as customs between medieval Wallachia and Transylvania, the castle is nowadays Romania’s most visited site.

Travel to Sinaia and discover one of the most stunning castles from Europe, The Peles Castle, also known for being the summer residence of the Romanian Royal family. The castle is an outstanding museum preserving its original furniture, decorations and paintings. Take a walk through the castle’s garden and enjoy the new-Renaissance architecture.

Visit also the Orthodox Monastery of Sinaia built by the Prince Cantacuzino, in the 19th century with a Byzantine design, and admire the exhibition of valuable objects that belonged to the Cantacuzino family, as well as the first Romanian translation of the Bible from the 17th century.
