    Mekong Delta & Angkor Wat tour offers a great combination of the two exotic lands and cultures. The trip starts in the dynamic city of Saigon. We will travel to the Mekong Delta to experience a great boat trip on the mighty river. We will walk on village roads, visit local houses and take a ferry to cross the Mekong River.     Lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch we drive to the famous CuChi underground tunnel system to experience how the Viet Cong lived and fought during the American War. Back to Saigon in the afternoon.

    Saigon – Cai Be – Can Tho (B,L)

    7h30 am: Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel. You leave Saigon for the Mekong Delta, especially when you visit Cai be. It takes you about 2h30 to get there. For people living in Mekong, their lives are attached to rivers, water. Almost all activities could be organized on the river as living, working, market gathering. On the way you can see the green paddy rice fields stretching forwards the horizon. Upon arrival in Cai Be town, you’ll be on board for an exploration of lush vegetation of Mekong Delta and you will be eye witnessing the real life of Mekong local people. Next, a crowing boat rides on the maze of shady canals to arrive at a local orchard to enjoy the local tropical fruits and visit the daily activities, the handicraft villages of local people as making coconut candy and rice paper with pop-rice and pop-corn, rice-wine. You have the tasty seasonal tropical fruit and enjoy the traditional folk music, called “Cai Luong”.

    Saigon – Cai Be – Can Tho (B,L)

    Break your time for lunch at Ba Kiet, an old house built since 1838 inside the garden. From here, you can walk around the garden before we get back on the transport for our trip to Can Tho overnight.

    An early start for a boat trip to Cai Rang floating markets, one of the most lively and colorful markets in Southeast Asia. After the market we cruise back to town. Breakfast in the hotel and visit the center market of Can Tho. Transfer to Chau Doc.

    On arrival, you start your trip visiting Chua Xu temple. Vietnamese people consider Chua Xu Lady to look like the Goddess of Mercy, she plays an important role in our society. Back to Chau Doc Town, you take the boat to visit the floating Houses where the fish are raised in the suspended metal Nets. The fish flourish in their natural river habitat. You continue to visit Cham village, Cham means Muslim people. With the traditional loom, Muslims people can weave the tissues and towels. Check in at the hotel. Night in Chau Doc.     Then head to see the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire, Angkor Thom, the Great Angkor City, established in the late twelfth century by King Jayavarman VII. We also visit the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King & Baphoun temple before continuing to visit Angkor Wat, the most popular tourist attraction in Cambodia-it is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Angkor Wat, also known as the “City of Temples” a temple complex in Cambodia and one of the largest religious monuments in the world, on a site measuring 162.6 hectares. Originally constructed as a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire, it was gradually transformed into a Buddhist temple towards the end of the 12th century.
