Renowned for its preserve of non-urban settlements that reflect the architecture style in Chinese Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), Hongcun was listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hongcun Ancient Village has about 140 original Ming and Qing style residences. Identifiable with pink walls and black tiles. Stroll around the village with your tour guide, admire the Chengzhi Hall which is praised as the 'Folk Imperial Palace'. Numerous carvings decorate the columns, beams and door frames and are gilded.

Explore the Nanhu Academy. Apart from ancient residences, Hongcun Ancient Village also famous for its water scenery. Moon Pond, South Lake and the winding streams lend more color to the village. After the tour finished, you can choose to end your tour in Huangshan or return Beijing.
