It was commissioned by Prince Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino, one of the wealthiest men in Romania at the time, who sought to create a residence that could rival the splendor of King Carol I's Peles Castle. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery, the castle combines elegance, history, and modern pop-culture fame, making it a truly unique destination.
