Private Layover Beijing Day Tour to Summer Palace and Lama Temple

From 7am to 10am, we will pick you up from Beijing International Airport as per your flight information. If you arrive earlier, we will pick you up at 8am at the arrival exit with a signage writing your name. Then take 1-hour car ride to Summer Palace. which used to be the palace for the royal family to escape the heat during Ming and Qing Dynasty in China. There are well-preserved houses, long painting corridor, marble boat etc. here. It is a nice experience to take a boat on the Kunming Lake to view the Longevity Hill.

Yonghegong, 雍和宫 in Chinese, or Lama Temple in English, is a Tibetan Buddhism Monastery. Located the northeast of Beijing, well-known for its colourful architecture and the 18m sandalwood Buddha, which is the largest sculpture ever carved from a single piece of wood. The temple was built in 1691, and it first served as an Emperor's residence then converted into a monastery in 1744. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to Beijing airport to catch your next flight where the layover day tour concludes.
