Fuji Sengen Shrine is one of the important shrines of Japanese Shintoism, mainly worshipping the volcano god of Mount Fuji. There are about 1,300 Fuji Sengen Shrines across Japan, mainly concentrated in Shizuoka Prefecture and Yamanashi Prefecture, followed by the Kanto region and Aichi Prefecture. Almost all Sengen Shrines are within the sight of Mount Fuji. If Mount Fuji cannot be clearly seen due to the distance or obstacles, a Fujizuka made of Mount Fuji rocks will be erected in the shrine as Mount Fuji. Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha is a shrine in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It is the head shrine of the Sengen Shrine and the center of Mount Fuji worship. The main deity is Konohana no Sakuyahime (Asama Okami). Legend has it that it was built by Sakanoue Tamuramaro at the order of Emperor Heijo in 806 AD. The shrine was revered by many famous samurai in the Middle Ages, such as Minamoto no Yoritomo and Takeda Shingen.

Tokyo: Shinjuku Local Eats, Street Food Tour & Culture Walk
tep into the lively backstreets of Shinjuku and discover how locals really eat. On this guided street food tour, you’ll visit four local food stands and restaurants—places loved by Tokyoites but often missed by tourists. At each stop, your guide will choose and order the best dishes for you: from crispy tempura and fresh sushi to juicy yakitori and a traditional Japanese dessert. These are local favorites, selected to give you an authentic taste of everyday Tokyo. No need to worry about the language or what to order—just come hungry and enjoy. If you have any dietary restrictions or dislikes, we’ll adjust the choices for you. Food and drinks are not included, but all four spots are affordable. Most guests spend around 4,000–6,000 yen in total, including drinks. This is the perfect tour if you want to eat like a local, without the guesswork.

【Contemporary Culture】Bar Hopping I Always Visit in Shinjuku!
We offer an experience like no other. It is " real Japanese culture". Typical Shinjuku experience tours take you to places that are popular with foreigners. For example, "Memoide Yokocho" and "Golden Gai. But to be honest, most Japanese locals have never been there. Most of the people there are foreign tourists, and Japanese people do not go there. In other words, it is no exaggeration to say that these are places for foreign tourists. Can we say that we "experienced Japanese culture" by going there? We do not think so. We take you to izakaya (Japanese style pubs) where "locals" always go. It is not a special place, but if you have Japanese friends, they will say, "What? You went there!" they will be surprised in a good way. We have begun to take action in order to show you the "real Japanese culture". Since we have just started our business, we offer our services at a lower price than usual.

Silence, Gai Buzz: A Self Guided Shinjuku Walking Tour
Tokyo’s Shinjuku district is like a study in contrast, where ancient shrines stand side by side with neon-lit entertainment zones. On this self-guided walking tour, you’ll experience this fascinating cultural juxtaposition firsthand, exploring everything from tranquil Shinto sanctuaries to the legendary Golden Gai bar district. As you walk, you’ll hear about the history that binds these seemingly opposite worlds together. This tour starts at Hanazono Shrine, which dates back to 1590 and serves as the spiritual guardian of Shinjuku. You’ll explore the shrine’s main hall and learn about its connection to the entertainment world through its dedication to Inari, the god of worldly success. From there, you’ll venture into the famous Golden Gai, a network of narrow alleyways housing nearly 300 tiny bars, each with its own unique theme and atmosphere.
