Your driver will pick you up you at 6:00.a.m from your Xi'an hotel and transfer to Xi'an North Railway Station to catch your 7:10am departure train Chengdu. Your driver will help you to get the train ticket.

Upon arrival, your private local guide and driver will pick you up at Chengdu East Railway station and head to Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi). On the way, you will stop for a nice local lunch. Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is a non-profit research and breeding facility for giant pandas and other rare animals. The giant pandas are not only a Chinese national treasure but also beloved by people from all over the world. Here, you will have lots of fun to see the pandas eating bamboos, playing with each other or climbing up trees.

After enjoy your time with lovely pandas, you can relax in the car and drive about 1 hour to downtown Chengdu, visit Kuanzhai Alley. Kuanzhai Alley is one of the top three historic preserve districts in Chengdu City. It is formed by three alleys called Kuan Alley (wide Alley), Zhai Alley (narrow Alley) and Jing Alley (criss-crossed alley) with courtyards between them. Here, you may drink tea, eat hotpot and experience the old and new way of life in Chengdu. Afterwards, you will will be transferred to your Chengdu hotel (at your own arrangement).

Meet your guide and driver in the morning at your hotel lobby, then head to Wenshu Yuan Monastery, also known as Manjushri Monastery. It is one of the best-preserved Buddhist temples in Chengdu. Since the Tang and Song dynasties, over 500 pieces of painting and calligraphy by celebrities have been stored here. In addition to its cultural relics, Wenshu Monastery is famous for its exquisite garden and solemn halls.

After that, continue to Wuhou Memorial Temple, a landmark of Chengdu. Wuhou Temple was built in commemoration of Zhuge Liang, the Prime Minister of the Shu State during the Three Kingdoms (220–280). The temple displays the suppleness of the Chinese garden with numerous historical relics.

After Wuhou Temple visit, you will enjoy a tasty local lunch (if you like spicy, Chengdu style hot-pot is a must to try). Then head to your next stop-Du Fu Cottage. Du Fu, a well-known poet of Tang Dynasty, has a strong influence in the field of Chinese poem. The cottage is the former residence of him. Today, it is a shrine to Chinese literature and a commemorative museum in the form of a traditional garden. Afterwards, you will be dropped off at Chengdu East Railway Station to catch your 5:58pm departure train back to Xi'an. If you choose tour ends in Chengdu, you will be transferred back to your Chengdu hotel after the tour.

Arrive in Xi'an at 9:54pm. Your friendly driver will meet you at the exit and transfer back to your Xi'an hotel.
